Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971, is an South African radio and television journalist and war reporter. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan have called her factually incorrect and politically biased coverage of the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest mistake of my entire decade of watching." She was a member of Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media group) in the year 2019. 4 She joined Fox Nation in January 2020. Fox News runs the subscription streaming service. She informed Fox News in March 2022 that she'd been "dumped". Logan was a student as a reporter at the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) as well as the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she was an executive producer at Reuters Television Africa. After four years, she moved into freelance journalism, obtaining reports as a reporter, editor/producer for ITN as well as Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN employed her to write on events such as the 1998 United States Embassy bombings in Nairobi, Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland.
