Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn Sedgwick, born August 19, 1965 is an American actress. Her most famous character is that of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received an award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. The seventh season of the show ended on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring role as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated to the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's films roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are in addition to her numerous. Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald, an educator and family therapist, a venture capitalist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish, and her father was an Episcopalian. Sedgwick was of English heritage. Sedgwick identifies herself as Jewish and has said that she participates in Passover seders.
